Ramadan starts Saturday – March 1, 2025

At ICOB, we follow the Global Moon Sighting method in determining the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

As a result, and in review of international and local declarations and after internal consultation, we would like to confirm that the Ramadan moon was sighted globally. Hereby, we announced that today, Friday February 28th, will be the last day of Shaban and that:

Saturday, March 1 will be the first of Ramadan.

May Allah (SWT) accept our intentions, fasting, Dua and all good deeds. May Allah (SWT) make this as our best Ramadan and give barakah in our time, forgive our sins and reward us all with the highest ranks in Jannat Al-Firdous. May this month of blessings be a time of contemplation and celebration. We ask Allah the Almighty to accept our fasting, prayers, and du’a, Ameen.
