Ramadan 2026/1447

Welcome to the Islamic Center of Bothell’s Ramadan resource page. Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down on Allah’s last messenger ﷺ as guidance for mankind, and we are honored to journey through this blessed month together as a community.

Here you will find all essential Ramadan resources, including daily prayer times, iftar and suhoor schedules, community programs, and important announcements. Our aim is to create a conducive and safe environment that allows us to fully engage in the blessings of Ramadan and attain closeness to Allah ﷻ.

Ramadan Start Date

The Islamic Center of Bothell continues to adopt a Global Moonsighting approach. For clarity and consistency, we will follow the official moon-sighting declarations issued by AMJA. Please see this letter from Mufti Moosa for details. Based on an announcement from AMJA the first day of fasting will be Wednesday, February 18th, 2026. Accordingly, the first taraweeh will be on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026.

Prayer & Program Schedule

Download a printable Ramadan Daily Schedule for daily prayer times.

Tahajjud: tahhajud prayer will be conducted throughout the last 10 nights. The prayer will start at 4:00am and will go for approximately 1.5 hours.

Parking

Just like last year ICOB has been granted access to parking on our neighbors’ parking lots. Please courteous and follow parking instructions on the map. Note that the allocated parking space is not exclusive to ICOB. Make sure to NOT block driveways or park on the fire lanes. Do not speed near or inside the parking lots, please maintain a maximum speed of 5mph. If you observe illegally parked vehicles please contact volunteers or the management as soon as possible.

Parking in the North parking lot is permitted only on Tarawih and Jummah between 12 pm and 4 pm.

Ramadan Programs

Just as in previous years, inshaAllah we will offer numerous programs throughout Ramadan, including daily Taraweeh, a Quran Competition, community Iftars, Qiyamul Layl, and more.

Visit our Ramadan Kids Programs page for the details on the programs for the younger fasters.

Download our printable Ramadan Programs Booklet to have all relevant information in one place.

Please note that our regular programs including Saturday Tea Party, Family Night, and Sunday Halaqa will be on pause until after Ramadan.

Iftar Sponsorship

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to earn the rewards of all those who break their fast by sponsoring an Iftar! The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have the same reward as him, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Jami’ al-Tirmidhi)
