The Islamic Center of Bothell’s mission is to reach out to all humanity by serving the Muslim community and promoting Islamic values while advocating interfaith harmony in a multicultural environment. Established in 2009, ICOB aims to be a focal point for Muslims in Bothell and surrounding areas, providing congregational prayers, celebrating Islamic festivals, and offering educational programs from preschool through middle school. The center is committed to dispelling misconceptions about Islam through good conduct and behavior, practicing principles of moderation, tolerance, and inclusiveness within the framework of the Quran and Sunnah. ICOB strives to bridge community gaps by providing resources for people of all ages and ethnic groups to learn about Islam, while developing mutual understanding with non-Muslims. Through spiritual growth opportunities, educational initiatives, and community engagement, ICOB works to empower Muslims to practice their faith confidently in daily life while fostering respect, cultural diversity, and cooperation both within the Muslim community and with the broader population of the Greater Puget Sound area.
