Zakat-al-Fitr via ICOB is now CLOSED. If you have not yet given your Zakat-al-Fitr, you may still do it via other organizations such as ICNA Relief.
ICOB is partnering with local organizations to deliver Zakat-al-Fitr to the needy as per the Sunnah of our Prophet ﷺ.
- For 2026, Zakat-al-Fitr is estimated at $15 per person in your household. Note, this amount is a minimum and you can pay more to be on the safe side.
- You can pay your Zakat-al-Fitr using Zelle (specifying in the notes “Zakat-al-Fitr”), credit card, cash collection boxes, or kiosks at ICOB.
- If paying by credit card, you MUST cover the payment processing fee ($0.50) to ensure your Zakah is paid in full.
- Earlier payment of Zakat-al-Fitr will help ensure distribution to those in need on time. We recommend you process your payments towards the beginning of Ramadan.
- ICOB disbursement of Zakat Al-Fitr goes to local refugees and needy families.
How Much: minimum $15 / Person (recommend higher if you can afford it)
Who: Every member of your household, including children.
When: Donate ASAP starting on day 1 of Ramadan. Last day to give Zakat-al-Fitr to ICOB is Friday, March 13, 2026.
We suggest you pay you Zakat Al Fitr early in Ramadan to ensure the distribution of the Zakah in time to those that need it.
