We are excited to announce that the Youth Group Program at ICOB will be continuing on for another year inshAllah!
What is the youth program?
The program aims to develop strong Muslims through spiritual, educational, social and service events. Through this, we also aim to create a strong sense of community amongst Muslim youth and foster new friendships in a halal environment.
We have a few events every month. Please see the attached events calendar for more details for our plans for the Fall quarter. The dates and events are subject to change.
Who can apply for the youth program?
Anyone between the ages of 13 and 18 is eligible!
How do I register for the program? Is registration mandatory?

How will this year’s program be different from last year’s?
We are continuously trying to improve our program through feedback from parents and youth. Each quarter, we base our events on what issues are most relevant to the youth.
The biggest change coming this year is more leadership opportunities available for youth members to develop skills and gain volunteer hours. More information about this will be shared at our welcome dinner and afterwards through email.
Are your events mixed or segregated?
All of our events are segregated by gender to follow proper Islamic guidelines on gender interaction. The brothers section will be led by me, Usman, and the sisters section is led by my wife.

How much does the program cost?
The program is $30 for the whole academic year (Sept 2024 to June 2025). Scholarships are available for those who need them.
There may be additional costs for specific events, but they are rare.
