At the Islamic Center of Bothell, we provide the Muslim community with meaningful opportunities to engage with the greater Seattle area through outreach and social programs. In recent years, ICOB has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build affordable housing in South Seattle and collaborated with ICNA to distribute food packages to families in need during Ramadan and Eid. We also work directly with local zakat-eligible families to provide financial assistance and support.
Zakat Application
At ICOB we attempt to help zakat eligible community members that reside within a 10-mile radius of Bothell, WA. Applicants outside of our community should contact their local masjids. Note that ICOB considers each application and decisions are made based on the evaluation and availability of funds.

At ICOB we have a 100% Zakat policy which means that we either directly distribute the funds to those in need from our community or work with non-profits that offer matching 100% Zakat policy.
